Mr. Stephen Kibungei

Stephen is the Managing Partner and one of the founders of the Law Firm. He was admitted to the Bar in October, 2007. He joined the Firm on a full time basis in October, 2012 and heads the Conveyancing and Property Transaction Department.

He has wide experience in Corporate Law, Energy Law, Banking Law, Bank Securities and applicable Law, Capital Markets, Restructuring of Companies, Conveyancing and Corporate Law, Intellectual Property Law and Employment and Labour law.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Moi University and a Post graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. He is currently undertaking his Masters of Laws Degree at the University of Nairobi with a specialization in Public Finance and Financial Services Law.

He is currently a member of Law Society of Kenya, East Africa Law Society and Young International Arbitrators Group (YIAG).

In addition, he has had the hands on experience of working with some of the leading law firms in the country where he has excelled and perfected his skills and abilities in the respective fields.

Mr. Peter Joseph Omwera Keya

Peter is a Partner and founder member of the Firm. He was admitted to the Bar in October, 2007 and joined the firm at inception in October, 2012. He leads the Commercial and Corporate Law Department team.

He holds a Master of Laws Degree from University of Nairobi with a specialization in Public Finance and Financial Services Law. He also holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Moi University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Law at the Kenya School of Law. He has additional professional qualifications as an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb) and is a registered Patent Agent at the Kenya Industrial Property Institute.

He has experience in the following areas of legal practice: Financial Services, Intellectual Property, Pensions law, Commercial and corporate Law, Legislative Drafting, Alternative Dispute Resolution and Family Law and Probate.

He is currently a member of the East Africa Law Society and the Law Society of Kenya and its Regulations Committee having previously served in the Young Lawyers and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committees. He has also attended and facilitated seminars on various legal issues and mentorship for younger members of the society.

Peter has previously been in the corporate world having worked for more than three years in the Asset Finance and Legal Departments of a leading financial institution.

Mrs. Caroline Jerono Kibiwott

Caroline is an Associate in the Firm. She has recently joined the bar having been admitted to the Bar in March, 2016.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Moi University and has a post graduate Diploma in Law at the Kenya School of Law. She is currently writing her Thesis for the master of Laws degree at the University of Nairobi. She is also set to sit Section 5 and 6 of Certified Company Secretary examination.

Caroline has injected fresh energy and zeal to the firm with experience in legal research and practice, articulate opinion writing, civil and criminal litigation, Employment and labor relations law, Family Law and Probate, Corporate governance and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

She is a member of the Law Society of Kenya and the East Africa Law Society.
